If we would sometimes give ourselves the luxury to stop and spend some
time taking a gander for longer than a nanosecond, what we see and feel
may be simply amazing.
I was fortunate to view this interesting pair in my Facebook news stream. I remembered that when I was a younger woman -- and these feelings have endured over decades -- I longed for the kind of bond this woman and her feathered friend share. It is simply amazing to me that each has the capacity to love and share the depth of trust for one another that is so freely and lovingly expressed in this photograph.
